DUKE AWEH

Mr. Duke Aweh holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port-Harcourt, Nigeria (1986) and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria (1988). He was a lecturer at Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt (1987-1989) and the University of Port Harcourt (Jan 1990 – Dec 1990) before joining the Central Bank of Nigeria in December 1990 where he retired from Public Service as a Deputy Director in the Other Financial Institution Supervision Department (OFISD) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) after 28 years of active service majored in Examinations of Financial Institutions. He holds a number of professional qualifications which include, Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Counciliators (ICMC).

He was appointed to the Board of CityCode Mortgage Bank Limited on 17th December, 2019. Duke Aweh brings on board a wealth of experience cutting across institution regulation and risk management.
