Mr. Kayode Omotosho holds holds an OND Certificate in Forest Studies, B.Sc. (Hons) Agricultural Economics of the University of Ibadan and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. ‘Kayode is an eclectic man having garnered a wide working experience and exposure in the Educational, Agricultural and Financial Sectors of the Nigerian economy in different scopes and capacities. His sojourn in the Financial Sector which commenced from National Bank in 1981 resulted into his appointment with Resort Savings and Loans Limited in 1993 as the Pioneer General Manager and consequently an Executive Director, prior to his resumption in July 2003, to the exalted position of the Pioneer Executive Secretary/CEO of Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN) to steer the growth, development and smooth-functioning of a well-structured Mortgage Banking/Sub-Sector in Nigeria.
He had participated in many local and international Programs which included: Wharton International Housing Finance Program/Workshop on Mortgage Securitization, Samuel Zell/Robert-Lurie Real Estate Centre, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (2006);International Builders’ Show, Orlando, Florida and Las Vegas(2007- 2010);Washington/Wall Street in New York, USA on the Proposed Securitization of Conforming Mortgages in Nigeria, Washington DC April (2007);CMHC/MBAN/Devpar Annual Collaborative Workshop on “International Housing Finance Systems” In Ottawa, Canada (2009/2015); American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) organized the Marketing, Membership & Communication (MM&C) Conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC, at the Center for Association Leadership (ASAE)(2011) and International &European Associations Congress, Liverpool(2012) As the Executive Secretary/CEO, he is the Chief Executive responsible for the management of the Secretariat which is the Pivot of the Association for its numerous activities in the Sub-Sector.
